Mary's Little Office

PRELUDES & PRAYERS

1. "All for Jesus," should be our motto,―naught for the world, and naught for self and selfish interests. All labor and rest, all joy and pain,―all shall be for Jesus.
(Jesus, The Model of Religious vol. 1, page 127)

2. As for you, brother, if you wish to succeed better, seek God in your heart; do not go outside yourself, for he is nearer to you than yourself.
(The Third Spiritual Alphabet, page 5)

3. It is the Lord That hath made us; O come, let us worship Him.
All tender lights, all hues divine,
The night has swept away;
Shine on us, Lord, and we shall shine
Bright in an inward day.

(The Psalter, William Blackwood & Sons, 1879, Matins, page 52)
