Give Me Strength

Give Me Strength

Dear heavenly Father,
before I begin my day's work, I fold my hands in prayer. All the strength I need comes from you. The grace that helps me to be kind, patient, sympathetic, understanding―all comes from you.

You understand my life, O Lord. It's the same as that of thousands of other women. Yet it is still different, given especially to me. And since it comes from you, I shall never cease to believe in what is beautiful and to strive for what is good. Amen.

                   There is nothing small
                   in the service of God.
