When I was 6 years old I saw this movie, and at the time I was in a home of a father who was an alcoholic and he was abusive to my mother and I, in a very controlling way with psychical abuse to both of us. When I saw this movie at the time I seemed to Identify with our lords suffering and my own. And I considered him my best friend from then on. Of corse these realizations have come to mind in my adult years.And I'm sure God allowed my life to go in the direction it has because of his love for me, and I now believe it is through suffering that we achieve Heaven of corse.But he has always supplied whatever I've needed and I know he always will.
