The saints tell us that our Blessed Mother Mary never lacks the power or the desire to help her children. Only a person who forgets how dearly Jesus loves His Mother could ever doubt her loving care. The love that filled the Heart of Jesus was also poured into the heart of Mary, and because of this, she watches over us with tenderness beyond our understanding.
Even while Our Lady still walked this earth, she was gentle and merciful toward those who suffered. How much more now, from Heaven, where she reigns beside her Son in glory, does she listen to the cries of her children! She sees every sorrow, every burden, and every hidden tear. Because she knows the troubles of mankind so well, she gives her kindness freely and never grows tired of helping those who call upon her.
Mary is truly our Mother. And what loving mother could ever forget her children?
During this beautiful month of May, let us remember that no prayer whispered to Our Lady is too small for her loving heart to hear.

Dear Mother Mary, stay close to us today. Help us to trust your gentle care and lead us always closer to Jesus. Amen.
