Mary, our holy Mother, has gone before us into Heaven. There she was welcomed with great joy and glory.
Now all her children may follow her with confidence, calling out:
“Draw us after you, dear Mother, and we will run after you.”
During our earthly pilgrimage, Mary has gone before us to be our loving Advocate.
She is the Mother of Jesus. One day, Jesus will be our Judge. And Mary is also the Mother of Mercy.
With a mother’s tender love, Mary pleads for our salvation and gently leads us to her Son.
Dear Mother Mary, draw me after you, walk beside me on my earthly journey, and lead me safely home to Jesus.

About The Meditation
This meditation comes from an old German Catholic prayer book and draws upon words attributed to Saint Augustine, Saint Peter Damian, and Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. It speaks of Mary as our loving Mother and Advocate, who prays for us and gently leads us to Jesus.
