| A Catholic Manual for Girl Scouts - 1958 |
I will try to live so that each day I will be better able to say that I fulfill to the limit of my ability my duties as a Girl Scout. Of course, my Girl Scout Laws are not binding on my conscience simply because they are Girl Scout Laws, but since the laws are based on Christian principles, reciting them to myself will help me in the love of God and my neighbor. I will let no chance slip by to perform the spiritual works of mercy.
