The Divine Outcast - Continued
Our lives would soon truly become holy if we were to practice the spirit of Faith; if, in the hurly-burly of our lives, we were to make frequent visits "to the depths of our hearts, to our Divine Guest," Even a good life produces but small results, because our attention is too distracted. We are at the mercy of every action, and between two of our actions we reserve ourselves hardly a minute of silence and prayer which would put us face to face with the vivifying Spirit, Who is present in us. but Whom we have paralyzed, forgotten and left to the obscurity of our souls' depths, and Who vainly awaits a look, a heart-cry, a loving word.
